Principal Properties & Application：
HS-504PTF-2 is a halogen-free, flame-retardant unsaturated polyester resin formulated with flame-retardant additives. It features low smoke emission, is pre-accelerated, and exhibits thixotropic behavior with moderate viscosity. The resin offers excellent handling properties and good anti-settling performance during storage and application.
When reinforced with fiberglass, the cured laminate can meet a range of flame-retardant standards, including TB/T 3138, DIN 5510-2, BS 476 Part 7 (Class 2), and UL94 V-0. It also complies with the material safety and VOC emission requirements commonly applied in rail transit sectors.
Applications:
This resin is ideal for producing halogen-free, low-smoke FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) components, particularly in hand lay-up processes. Typical applications include construction panels and interior parts for railway passenger vehicles that require stringent flame retardancy and low smoke generation.
